'The Lodge' is located directly on the beach in the middle of a wide and beautiful two kilometer sweep of golden sand known as Bophut Bay. In the middle of this bay is the sleepy Fisherman's Village. One of the oldest villages on Samui, this tiny stretch of the north shore of Samui is home of all the quiet charm anyone could want.

A dozen high quality restaurants, bistros, and small bars dot the village's single one lane waterfront road, interspersed with wooden Chinese shop houses, giving the place the look of a movie set for some Asian adventure film. Visiting Sailboats, Chinese junks, classic Thai longtails, and wildly painted fishing boats dot the bay.

Separated from the main ring road that circles the island, the Fisherman's Village is where the crazy pace of Samui's traffic slows to a walk, where street vendors, chic cafes, smiling old ladies, scuba tours and inter-island travellers disembarking on a rickety wooden pier all come together.
